Why does TAM of Nevada put photos on their cards? +

One word: Marketing

TAM Cards (printed at TAM of Nevada on Paradise Road) have photos of the card holder on them as a marketing ploy to make it seem as though the card you receive has some type of value as a photo ID. Nevada law does not require TAM Cards have photos and they cannot be used as identification.

Do I have to take a written test to get my card? +

Yes. Nevada law requires that after watching the online safety video, cards be picked up in person and may only be issued after taking a written test and scoring a 75%. Online testing is not permitted and cards cannot be mailed.

$25 total.

What is the youngest age I can get my card? +

Nevada law does not set a minimum age to complete alcohol awareness training. However, in order to serve or sell open alcohol a person must be 21 years of age.
