AED TRAINING for your Card in Las Vegas

As part of our CPR certification class, all students will receive expert training on the use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). We have training machines that look and function exactly like real AEDs, without the risk of electric shock.

NOTE: We’re sorry! We know you were hoping to try this on your husband. Please don’t. He won’t like it.

Students will also perform CPR on manikins as well as apply pads and use training AEDs.

What Exactly does an AED do?

AEDs are used to correct heart arrhythmia, which causes cardiac arrest. They provide an electric charge to the victim’s body. This charge is delivered via sticky pads placed on the victim’s chest.

How Have Defibrillators Changed?

Modern AEDs use voice commands to walk the user through the process, alerting them of when to apply the electric charge. They also give voice commands with regard to providing CPR.
